One Month Remaining for PCF PEC Survey Vendor Authorization
folder_openPractice Requirementscalendar_todayPosted June 1, 2022

The vendor authorization window for PCF practices closes on June 30, 2022. There are approximately 1,300 practices who have not yet authorized a survey vendor. Practices that have not completed the authorization process will receive multiple reminders during the month of June. The PCF PEC Survey is a required component of the annual quality gateway that is assessed for all PCF practices as part of the performance-based adjustment (PBA). If a practice does not authorize a vendor, CMS will assign them a 0 for their yearly PECS score, and they will not meet the Quality Gateway for that Performance Year.

The final list of approved vendors for PY22 has been published on PCF Connect and on the PCF PECS website. Vendors may also advertise their fully approved status on their website and in press releases. Survey vendors can find a list of PCF Model participants on the Primary Care First Model website.

Vendors should review their Survey Vendor Authorization report regularly during the vendor authorization window and confirm they have contracts with all listed practices. As described in Section 7.6.1 of the Quality Assurance Guide, this report allows survey vendors to view all PCF practice sites that have authorized them to collect and submit data on their behalf. If there is a practice on the list without a contract, please reach out directly to them right away. If a practice authorizes a vendor without first obtaining a signed contract and Business Associate Agreement (BAA), please contact that practice and the PCF PECS Team.

Practices with questions about vendor authorization should contact PCF Support at PCF@Telligen.com or 1-888-517-7753.

Vendors with questions should contact the PCF PECS Team via e-mail at pcfpecs@rti.org or call 1-833-997-2715.
