CMS-Approved Survey Vendors
as of July 12, 2024
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approves the
survey vendors listed below to administer the PY 2024 Primary Care
First (PCF) Patient Experience of Care (PEC) Survey. These
organizations have demonstrated the facilities, project experience, and
staff expertise that are required to conduct the PCF PEC Survey
administration with appropriate rigor, given the demands of the survey
procedures and timeline. Vendors with an asterisk (*) beside their
names are fully approved and have successfully completed CMS
requirements and training for PCF PEC Survey.
Practices that participate in the PCF model must contract with a vendor
from this list of approved PY 2024 PCF PEC Survey vendors. Practices
are responsible for all associated costs of the vendor. CMS has adopted
standardized survey protocols that allow for varying survey costs and
ensured that the approved vendors are trained to implement these
protocols consistently. However, CMS does not dictate the pricing for
the approved survey vendors. We encourage practices to contact vendors
for cost and service information as there may be differences among
vendors.
The vendor authorization window for the PY 2024 PEC Survey is
March 11 to June 14, 2024. If your practice will continue
to use the same survey vendor that was used to administer the PY 2023 PEC Survey,
you do not need to update the online vendor authorization form.
However, you must update the online vendor authorization form if
either of the following apply:
Please note this is the final list of approved vendors for 2024.
Authorizing a vendor on the PCF PEC Survey website is a separate
step that practices must take AFTER entering a formal written
contract and signing a Business Associate Agreement with an
approved PCF PEC Survey vendor.
